The Dancin' Dolls

Giselle Anguizola ~ A soulfully swingin' San Diego girl, student and promoter of jazz, creator of the first ever Girl Jam held annually in Los Angeles, CA, and co-creator of the all-girl line dance hot pockets, Giselle inspires ladies to express themselves confidently, connect to the music, and not do it like anyone else. She is also a bad-ass jazz deejay with a love for eccentric characters of the jazz world.

Niki Amundson ~ This local Twin Cities girl has a down to earth attitude, fantastic follow flava' and enviable solo charleston skills. Niki's charleston silhouette is the Midwest Girl Jam logo!

Jojo Jackson ~ Musician, writer, former Minnie's Moocher, and all around jazz dance diva, Jojo has been inspiring lindy hop ladies from coast to coast (and in Europe!) for several years now.   Besides winning numerous awards at prestigious lindy hop competitions, Jojo is the co-creator of the all-girl line dance hot pockets and hosts the Northwest Girl Jam in Seattle.

The Musical Misses

Cheri Sykes ~ As professional teacher, music director, and lover of jazz, Cheri is thrilled to be a part of this unique event supporting women in jazz!

Nicole Frydman ~ Nicole has been singing and dancing since she was a small child and, thanks to her parents' support and encouragement, has always been active in the arts. She studied classical acting at Tisch School of the Arts and in 1998 graduated from NYU with a BFA. Since then she has performed all over the country in national tours, regional theaters, summer stock, repertory, and even some major motion pictures. For example, you can catch her head fly by Julia Roberts in the dance scene of "Mona Lisa Smile". Nicole will be playing double duty this weekend as a Jazz vocal teacher and Emcee of the MWGJ's Saturday evening swing dance and show.
